Missions

At VLC, we are committed to the spread of the good news of Jesus Christ both in our community and around the world.

Our missions program is a priority here! We assist foreign and home missionaries, educational institutions, overseas evangelism, and related programs of the Assemblies of God. Through the World Missions department of the Assemblies, our giving and assistance as individuals and as a congregation is greatly multiplied to have an amazing impact all over the world.

Our annual Missions Convention in February is our primary method of raising funds for our missionaries, but there are projects and outreaches throughout the year that we participate in, from short-term missions trips to giving away gas in our own community, from supplying a specific need for an overseas missionary to our youth raising money for Speed-the-Light and providing them with a vehicle.
