Worship Ministries

Worship and praise aren’t preliminaries to a church service. Music isn’t just to warm up a crowd. We’re not here to be cheerleaders. It’s not just so that musicians have something to do on Sundays. We don’t need the spotlights, the hype, or the noise. Worship is a part of who we are…God is worthy, so we praise Him. We praise him with our songs, with our prayers, with our gifts, with our lives. Sometimes, we use words.

The Worship Ministries of VLC exists to provide passionate praise to our Creator, and to give a place of service and ministry to people in our local church. We do what we do so that the whole congregation can participate in corporate worship, and bring glory to the King of Kings. It’s not a show, it’s not pretentious, it’s not even for the sake of tradition; it’s just because we’re grateful.
