What to Expect
We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel completely comfortable when you visit. Below are some frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to contact us or visit the information table when you visit.
When are services?
Services are on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m and Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.
Both services are located in the sanctuary. This is a time for the
community to gather in celebration with inspired teaching and
preaching, and a vibrant, powerful time of worship and praise. All
services typically last 90 minutes.
On Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m., there are Christian Education classes in a small-group, age-divided format which allows both children and adults to build a solid foundation of Biblical knowledge. The adult classes are in the left wing and the children in the right wing.
What should I wear?
We want you to feel
comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want
you to be more focused on the service than what you're wearing. In the
summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts,
and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and
that's fine too! We think you'll fit in no matter how you dress.
How do I get to VLC?
Victorious Life Church is located next to Vista Ridge Mall in Lewisville, TX.
From Dallas: Take I-35 North to exit 448 (FM 3040/Round Grove Rd/ Hebron Pkwy). Take the E Round Grove ramp to FM 3040. Turn right at FM 3040. Turn left at MacArthur Blvd. Victorious Life Church will be on your left.
From Denton: Take I-35E South to exit 448B (FM 3040/Round Grove Rd/ Hebron Pkwy). Turn right at FM 3040. Turn left at MacArthur Blvd. Victorious Life Church will be on your left.
Where should I park?
You may park in any
available spot; there is reserved parking for visitors need the main
entrance. During busier times, parking in the far north lot is your
best bet. Entrances to the building can be found facing the Vista Ridge
Mall and both wings facing MacArthur Blvd.
Where do my children go?
King's Kids
is the perfect place for your children 5 years old through fifth grade
to go while you attend service. If you would like your children to go
to King's Kids, visit the Children's Check-in located to the right of
the sanctuary. Your children will be checked in, and you will receive a
identification sticker which you will need in order to pick up your
child.
We also have a nursery for birth thru 4 years old. If you would like to check-in your child in the nursery it is in the left wing.
For the safety and security of your child, it is important that you keep track of your identification sticker. This helps us know that you are the person authorized to pick up your child.
Am I expected to put money in the offering?
If
you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money in the
offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. If you
consider VLC your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully
consider giving to VLC. You can give by check or cash during the
service, or you can give online.
